A turned head, rounded cheeks and sculpted curls give this historic child portrait a lively presence on a library or gallery shelf. It follows the faience bust MG 108 held by the Hunt Museum in Limerick.
The museum describes its origin as North Italian or German and its date as possibly the seventeenth century. The original left shoulder damage and hollow underside are retained. This single color decorative edition reproduces the sculptural form rather than the original ceramic material.
Made to order by TheBustVault in PLA, available in 5, 9 and 12 inch heights with Ivory White, Marble Stone or Charcoal Black finishes. These are decorative surface appearances on PLA. Intended for indoor display. Books, shelves and other props are not included.
