Add a considered historical portrait to a library, study, or collection of museum sculpture. This bust of William Cabell Rives combines swept hair, classical drapery, and the original turned circular support in a composed silhouette.
The rendition follows Paul Gayrard's marble portrait held in the University of Virginia Library Special Collections. Rives (1793-1868) served as a United States senator from Virginia and as Minister to France.
Made to order by TheBustVault and crafted from PLA. Choose a height of 5, 9, or 12 inches and an Ivory White, Marble Stone, or Charcoal Black finish. The stated height includes the original sculptural support. A gift for an American history reader, teacher, or collector of portrait sculpture.
