01 · Materials & finishes

One sculpt. Three different moods.

Ivory White brings a classical feel. Marble Stone adds a softly mottled appearance. Charcoal Black puts the silhouette and detail in focus. Compare the same Alexander the Great sculpt below.

What is the actual material? Our standard busts are made from PLA using 3D printing. Ivory White, Marble Stone and Charcoal Black describe the finishes. Marble Stone has a stone-inspired look; the bust itself is PLA.

These are catalog images for comparing the finish options. Lighting, screens and the individual production process can affect appearance. See the selected product page for its available sizes, finishes and images.

02 · Find your scale

Start with the shelf.

Our standard busts come in approximate heights of 5, 9 and 12 inches. Measure the height, width and depth of your display space, then check the size guide on your chosen product. The footprint changes with the sculpt.

5″
A small accent

Consider for a desk, a compact bookshelf or a gift where display space is limited.

9″
A shelf focal point

Consider for a study, office or bookcase where the piece can stand out among books.

12″
A statement piece

Consider for a mantel, cabinet or dedicated display with room above and around the sculpture.

Leave space to lift the bust safely in and out. Size names refer to approximate overall height, including the base.

04 · Practical details

Before and after it arrives.

When will my order ship?

Standard catalog pieces are made to order and produced and shipped within 7 calendar days of ordering. Shipping is free within the U.S. and to international destinations available at checkout. Carrier transit time is additional and varies by destination. International import duties, taxes or customs fees may be due on delivery. Read the shipping policy.

How should I handle and display my bust?

Choose a stable indoor shelf, desk, cabinet or display case. Lift carefully around the base and main body, protecting fine details and narrow features. Keep it where it will not be knocked or dropped. These are decorative collector pieces and should be handled as display objects.

Will my piece look exactly like the catalog image?

The design and chosen finish remain consistent, but small surface and finish variations can occur because each piece is produced individually. Catalog lighting and your screen also affect how a finish appears. Contact us before ordering if a particular detail matters for your display.

Can I return a standard catalog piece?

Request a return within 3 calendar days after delivery for a change of preference, size or finish. Standard catalog pieces remain eligible even though they are made to order. Wait for approval and instructions, then return within 7 calendar days of approval in original, undamaged condition. Buyers pay tracked return shipping for preference returns; there is no restocking fee. Personalized or custom pieces clearly marked non-returnable have different terms. Read all return conditions.

What if it arrives damaged, defective or incorrect?

Contact us within 7 calendar days after delivery with your order number and photos of the item and packaging. Keep the packaging while we review the issue. Approved cases include a replacement or refund and any required return shipping. Contact The Bust Vault.

Can I request a subject or a personal sculpture?

Yes. Send us your idea so we can review the subject, size and details. A request starts a conversation; availability and timing depend on the project.
