Bring the balanced features and curled hair of Doryphoros to a library, study, or classical art collection. This portrait head captures the calm expression of the famous Greek Spear-Bearer type associated with Polykleitos.
The source scan records a plaster cast, inventory Rz 7, in the Museum of the Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków. This reproduction retains its head and upper neck, with a leveled underside ring and the original recessed cavity for tabletop display.
Made to order by TheBustVault and crafted from PLA. Choose a height of 5, 9, or 12 inches and an Ivory White, Marble Stone, or Charcoal Black finish. A gift for a classical art collector, Greek history enthusiast, husband, or father who enjoys a well furnished study.
