A Sir Hans Sloane bust gives a library or study a portrait drawn from the history of natural science and collecting. After John Michael Rysbrack's eighteenth century terracotta in the British Museum, this sculpture retains the elaborate wig, lace collar, turned head and original central support.
Sloane was a physician and naturalist whose bequeathed collection formed the foundation of the British Museum. The detailed portrait suits a natural history shelf, a physician's study or a collection of historical sculpture.
Made to order by TheBustVault in PLA, in 5, 9 or 12 inch heights and Ivory White, Marble Stone or Charcoal Black finishes. These names describe decorative surface appearances on PLA. Intended for indoor display.
